2024 State of the County Address

Tuesday, October 1, 2024 at 5:00p.m. at the Scott Northern Wake Tech Campus (6600 Louisburg Road, Raleigh, NC 27616)

Wake County Board of Commissioners Chair Shinica Thomas invites you to celebrate progress and envision our future at the 2024 State of the County Address.

This event is free, and all are welcome to join. Reception: 5:00pm Program: 6:00pm

Festivities include a "Touch-a-Truck" event outside, where guests can explore ambulances, fire trucks and other public safety vehicles. Take photos wearing a real firefighter helmet or with your favorite truck. Inside, enjoy light refreshments and music.

The program will feature the Chair's address and a conversation with local leaders:

Wake Tech President: Scott Ralls    
Wake County Chief Medical Officer: José Cabañas    
Wake County Economic Development Executive Director: Michael Haley

Parking is free, including accessible spaces.
