Help keep your community clean by participating in the Wake County Housing Authority (WCHA) "Bulky Item Trash Pick-Up" program.
WCHA will now come to your neighborhood on designated days to pick up. The program is free for those who follow these important rules:
The program is for large, household items that can't be placed in the dumpster. This includes: washing machines, appliances, mattresses, old furniture, and other big items.
Items can only be placed near the dumpsters no earlier than a day before your scheduled pick-up day and no later than 9 a.m. on the day of your scheduled pick up. For example, if your pick-up day is Tuesday, you should not place any item near the dumpster before Monday or later than 9 a.m. on Tuesday.
Failure to follow the rules may result in a lease violation for littering the property and a $100 trash fine, as indicated in your lease and statement of charges.
